Among her friends rank Bree Van de Kamp (Marcia Cross), Gabrielle Solis (Eva Longoria Parker), Lynette Scavo (Felicity Huffman) and Susan Mayer (Teri Hatcher). Although her family is slowly falling apart, Bree manages to keep her image intact. She is the perfect housewife, very elegant and house-proud, known also for making gourmet meals and breakfast treats, including her pineapple bran muffins. A former successful model, Gabrielle seems to have everything a woman could want except true love. Apparently a sarcastic, self-absorbed, shallow, spoiled and vain person, she is caring, thoughtful, loves her friends and is always there for them. Lynette survives cancer, gives up to a successful career and devotes herself to her children. A single mother, Susan is a clumsy woman who gets herself into all sorts of trouble. Very inquisitive by nature, she is the driving force behind the housewives’ desires to elucidate mysteries. Portrayed by Nicollette Sheridan, Edie Britt is a serial divorcée whose lovey dovey escapades are disfavored by her neighbors… but after all, every neighborhood needs a troublemaker.
