Created by Josh Schwartz and Chris Fedak, this action-comedy television series revolves around Charles “Chuck” Bartowski, an “average computer-whiz-next-door” whose life is about to change forever. Suddenly, an encoded e-mail from his former Stanford University roommate Bryce Larkin, now a CIA Agent, turns his life topsy-turvy. The message, a copy of the world’s greatest database of secret information, imprints into Chuck’s brain fanning the flame on the NSA and the CIA. Both agencies want to recover the intelligence and tell off Major John Casey and Agent Sarah Walker to retrieve the data.
As if this weren’t enough, it turns out that Bryce stole the information and destroyed the government’s copy. Since he experiences “flashes” of information from the database, Chuck must take the service with the agencies and throw his previously uneventful life into the melting pot. Thus and so, a computer expert at The Nerd Herd, the computer and electronics technical support division of Buy More, wakes up caught up in a battle against assassins and international terrorists. In order to keep his family and friends out of harm’s way, Chuck must keep his alliance with the government secret. Under the circumstances, Major John Casey and Agent Sarah Walker are forced to establish an uneasy alliance and secret identities. While Casey goes undercover as part of the Buy More team, Walker passes herself off as Chuck’s girlfriend and takes a cover job at a local restaurant near the Buy More.
